I would replace it with whatever was in their, unless you got a screaming deal on a V6. What year Bayliner? Is it a Volvo or Merc? Merc short blocks can be gotten cheap rebuilt, we got ours out of Long Island. Doug Russel Marine(think thats the name) always has them cheap. Volvo is a PITA.




That hull wouldn't be able to get on plane with one of our diesels.
