As I mentioned in the other thread, I was a tow truck driver, What I would do is take it to your mechanic and have him look for damage. If he thinks the tow caused damage, get an estimate and go to the tow company and demand it gets fixed. They will have a mechanic who might look at it because believe me, they deal with this all the time. And as I said, where I worked, the management tacked on a fee to the drivers bill so they were happy to have damages. They made money coming and going.
Do it right away. Call the tow company immediately. This sounds like a city contact that they have, they probably make good money from it. If they don't take care of you, you can call the city. Everyone has a boss. I bet they don't want complaints to the city. Towing is a tough business so they will probably try to intimidate you, don't take any ****. If they damaged your car they know they have to pay for it. Don't let them tell you you signed a waiver when you took the car, that's bull*****. How can you sign a waiver before you see the car? That wouldn't hold up in court.
