I am paying in the neighborhood of $1100/yr for 4 daily drivers with Progressive. I am self-insuring against collision/comprehensive by having a backup 240D in case one of the W123s gets pronged.

Progressive offers a lot of interesting discounts. They give discounts if you have a graduate degree, I think and discounts for low odometer readings (which since we have 2 drivers for 4 cars, we get). How well they pay or service us is to be seen- I haven't had a claim in 30 years (knocks wood).

The rest of the fleet is either in drydock (no ins) or on American Collectors and rarely gets out.
