I'm having a problem with a Volvo, 1989 240DL I just bought.
My GF was driving it and she said it was running a little rough. She said it started surging on her then completely quit.
The only way to get it to run is to start it and hit the gas and rev it really high, otherwise it will stall. It will not idle.

Any ideas, I really need to get this running.
