The headlamp surrounds that came off were in decent shape.
I probably wouldn't have tried this if I didn't already have a couple of crappy spare sets to experiment with.
One of those sets had some small holes and I didn't want to wait for epoxy to dry, so I painted the other crappy set, which had lots of cracking & discoloration, but no holes.
