Well if you want to do it right once in for all thats the ticket. I got lucky and my parts car had a tight steering box with a virgin adjustment screw. If not I would have bought the guts and did it myself.

Thats pretty much what the "adjustment" screw does, it moves the gears along a little, but it will only help to a point. After 250k-300k miles they are pretty done.

I found taking the box apart similer to cleaning a sailboat winch. Just take your time, and keep everything very clean. The bolts on the front can be a PITA, I had to use an impact gun to free them. Everything else came apart with normal tools. The write up on the link is quite good, I followed it and wasn't surprised.
