I just drove my wagon home 250 miles and it drove very nice...except for a few issues. First, the idle is rough, I think. It makes the car wobble at the red light. It has new motor mounts, so I don't think that is it. By the tach, it is idling at 5-600 rpm. Seems like that could be it. Also, it is shifting 1-2-3 very quick, and hard. is the bowden cable the likely culprit? Also, on the ride home, the high beams worked for a while then just quit, in fact, when I turned them on, the lights went out altogether, even the low beam. Finally, the cruise doesn't work and neither do the power locks. I assume it is vaccuum related, and that this could be the prob with the shift too?
