I'm selling my 81 300SD project car with 292K miles. It's a California car with no rust. Runs well and doesn't smoke -- hard to believe but it's true. Gold with brown leather. Make that 3 shades of gold

I got this car with a bad tranny. I put in a good used tranny. It's a good daily driver if you don't care about looks. It definitely looks tired. The only thing it needs immediately is a new center bearing bushing as the prop shaft knocks about the center carrier from time to time. There's a windshield bullseye right in the driver's field of view. The other little things can be ignored or dealt with later if you care to.

You might think of it as a good powertrain with a body thrown in so you can test it. Located in Santa Clara, CA. Registred through October 02.
