That ... and after you quit smoking, food can become a substitute for the routine of smoking. You need to avoid snacking when you quit smoking or you'll pack on the pounds.
Another hard part of quitting for me was taking breaks at work. At first I stopped taking them, but realized that I still needed to get away from the desk and relax for a minute every now and then.
