I think JIMMYL did a thread on cleaning the sun roof drains with a plumbers snake.

Be sure to check under the front wheel wells where the plastic splash guard fastens to the body under the hood hinge drains. there is a tube molded into the plastic that is closed off on the end. take a knife and cut out the end so it will drain. debris builds up behind it.

If you decide to remove it, check the end of the rocker and the wall, I found rust starting on mine.
