I have an E430. I drove both and just liked the way it"felt" compared with the E320. Try both and then decide. The only issue I have heard of on the engines is that a few V-6s have had failures of the crankshft pulley/vibration damper and that damages the timing cover at the same time. The 210 E-Class has been pretty reliable. Keep in mind that no car is perfect.
