I agree on that statement. Anyways I remember we had to put in a switch like a brake like switch in front of shifter so when in park it would actuate the sylenoid to unlock but when taken out of gear it would lock. Now the exact wiring and all I dont remember from heart I would have to get a wiring diagram again of central locking and draw how the system would have to modified. I cannot believe no shops would take this task. We always take stuff like this cause of the challenge. Probably they dont want liability of cutting factory wiring. We look at it as just upgrading safety systems , sounds good huh. Let me remind you this modification was expensive about as much as a good alarm system but who puts a price on safety.
