The term bait and switch is correct in both contexts. Bait and switch is also used as a term when you are sold one product(usually of greater value) and then given an inferior one(if one at all).

Happened to an idiot I served with on the Truman. Bought an expensive digital camera from a street vendor in Italy and when he got back to the ship discovered only a $150.00 bottle of water in the box. bait and switch. More commonly know as Fraud.

So, how has everything worked out for you with the head? have you gotten another one yet?
