Buying a second Mercedes to fix up and drive/sell?

In Chicago, there seems to be a good amount of rare Mercedes for sale that are good drivers/projects. I've been thinking about buying a second Mercedes to drive and fix issues on over the winter, and sell it in the summer, hopefully for a profit. Or, I could just keep it at my house in the garage. Seems like a do-able hobby, now that I've fixed nearly everything on my 300cd, including the A/C.

How do these cars look as projects, all are at a decent price, and should be worth more when cleaned up, and eBayed.

A 1985 280ce AMG w123 coupe. 100k miles, asking $3200.
It's probably a basket case, but it looks decent in the pictures, and it has all the euro goodies, like the AMG spoilers, and bumpers and headlights.

1989 300ce European coupe. Asking $2200.
This one looks nice, it has a great color, it's a grey market with velour seats and manual HVAC controls.

I think that 190e would be the most fun to drive out of all three. What do you think about one these three cars? Which one would be a good bet as a project fixer-upper, that I could keep for a while or sell if I decide to? All three seem to be decent candidates. I still have a while to decide if I want another car or not, but cars like these don't show up that often.
