Some of our brethren are purists and refused to countenance any deviation from "factory." For the most part, they are helpful, resourceful and very knowledgeable. However, WVO is a very sore subject and Lovecraft has a very deserved bad reputation amongst most dieselers.

Most of the advice so far is good. Take off all the nonsense you have put on and run a tank or two of biodiesel and see if you can clean your injectors. The Diesel Purge (another sore subject) is not any more effective (my opinion) than an combination of injector cleaner and biodiesel fuel in a closed loop. You could try that procedure until the return runs nearly clear. There are pictorial essays on the site. Your ALDA is probably getting plugged. Again, check the site for remedy.

If the beloved 300sd is undamaged, then I would look into a two tank system. I know this sounds diesel-treasonous or at least counter intuitive, but I WVO my belcher for political and environmental reasons and to discourage you would be dishonest. I have stated my WVO position before and out of respect to our purists I will decline advancing the arguments here.
