Actually, Mercer Island is an island in the middle of Lake Washington. It is generally a VERY expensive place to live, especially if you are on the water. Bill Gates lives on the shore of Lake Washington, although he's not on Mercer Island, so I guess it's not his old SLC for sale. Although I think Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen lives on Mercer Island, maybe it's his car, he could probably use the $500.
