The 1979 300SD which I just bought had a smashed oil pan. I replaced it and shot a time lapse video:

The lighting is pretty bad (this is my first time lapse video), but you can see me remove the pan, chase the threads, then install the new pan. my favorite part is watching the oil drain at high speed.
