Another teentsy update. Sorry, no pictures this time... I've ordered the 1/4" plate aluminum for the SC mount and other assorted pieces I need to fabricate and I've also completed the preliminary design for the mounting plate. I broke my bandsaw so I have to get some new blades this weekend and next week, I'll get back to fabricating.
I've also scrapped my original exhaust manifold flange design. The original was based on the turbo engine manifold which is divided 4 and 2 for some reason. This means it's a totally unique shape which will add to the complexity and cost for fabrication. After some additional investigation, I found that the head could be easily converted to use the "3 and 3" non-turbo configuration. That way, I can create 2 identical 3 port flanges.
Lukily, I had not sent the file off to the shop to get the cutting work done yet...
