The Bluebird saga continues.....

BLUEBIRD PASSES SMOG!!!!!!!

STARDATE:21-11-2008 16:30

Bluebird passed smog apparently with flying colors,(haven't seen the paper work yet).

Vickie at the Indy's called me at 4:30 this evening and told me that the car just passed the smog test. What a relief!!

Brake and light check is next and I'm sure that 'll be a no brainer.

Finally after 3 months, a few bucks and a lot of work on my part the large hurdle is cleared!

I haven't added up the total cost to get her through smog(not counting test charges.), but I believe the total will be less than $300.00 in actual outlay for smog related parts(of course I worked for nothing). I did fix several things not really related to smog like the new exhaust(minus the Cats, they were smog related).

It's been a long road and there is still work to be performed to get her "right", but the main thing was getting her smogged...before I tackle anything else.

I'll sleep well tonight.

Threads are on this forum and also at Benzworld.org W126 forum. Search for Bluebird and the threads will come up.
