There are about three different hp versions of the 240 engine.
You would not want to assume by year an engine was one or the other.. but should check the engine serial number.
I am on the way out of the house... if someone has not posted the numbers before I get back I will find them at that time.
On old cars which could have had one or more engine swaps it is even more important if you are really interested in getting the ' really powerful version of the 240d engine'....
