well by far the cleanest method is to solder and cover in heatshrink.
Otherwise most shops use butt connectors, basicallya cylynder that you crimp the wire in on each end. Usuallyt he blue ones are the right size for it.
As for the changer, if its a kenwood changer, I don't think it will hook intot he pioneer radio. I don't even know if they can convert them.
