a W126 chassis...I'll bet it's also adaptable to W123 easily!
My 300sd came with the upgraded fuse kit. However, i was still blowing pin 11 on the blower motor regulator. Resoldered it, and then burned the actual regulator itself. I was able to resoldered the circuit board though. In my process of fixing i discovered the PO (ive owned for almost 4 years) had put an 80amp strip fuse in for the blower . I replaced with a 25amp and its working great with no issues. I think the main problem was the PO took power from the blower hot wire to power something else.
