I disconnected it from the head unit wiring harness, tried to trace it, but it get's lost in the abyss. I have also tried removing the wiring harness from the ignition switch, no help there either.

I have narrowed it down the the bulk of wires connected to the d-box under the dash, I have to get in there and play some more. It's turned intermittent, so it's getting more difficult.
