So, it is a generic term. Thank you.

More specifically, does the above trans have transmission overload protection/relay and could rough shifting be attributed to this or should I look elsewhere first. All but working pressure has been checked, fluid is perfect, trans only shifts smooth when very warmed up/15 minutes on the freeway. Thanks for the help. Michael
