There are a couple differences between the aluminium one piece and the old iron case two piece trans.

The iron box has the 3 levers pointing straight up, while the aluminium box has two levers pointing down, 1-2 and 3-4. with reverse pointing up.

So the shift rods might not have the same bends, and you will have one shorter rod for your reverse from your old box.

See if you can get the shift rods from the person sending you the replacement box.
