Maybe. But there is no real way to treat psychological crap, is there? While psychology gathers data scientifically, the rest of it is highly suspect. If the mechanic fixed your car like they "fix" minds, would you be pissed? Bring your car to a shop and there are now 5 possible diagnoses with 5 different ways to fix it. No telling how long it will take or what it will take to fix it. It will be done sometime. In the meantime, keep paying the bill.
There was a famous case of this woman who "rocked" her kids on orders from God. At the end of the rock party, 2 were dead and 1 was severely brain damaged. 2 mindfawks said she was sane, 2 said she was insane. Is that the profession I should pay respect to?
