Oh boy.
I hope it rains torrents tomorrow. But if AGW or nonAGW is indeed on the rise, the Sierra snowpack will get smaller and smaller over the years. Might be similar rainfall totals but replicating the resorvoir-like nature of the snowpack will be about impossible and very costly (in $$ and land use) to attempt a fraction of it. Not to mention making life more risky: damn bursts.
Oh yeah, I'm a lefty loon, go ahead and fill up your swimming pool, wash your cars once a week (don't turn the hose off while doing so, that's for sissies). We can double the population of this state and we'll still have plenty of water for any and everything we want it for. Plus, milk and honey, etc.
