We too draw our water from the Sierra snowpack and I'm aware this is the third dry year in a row. Hopefully things will return to at least average in the next couple years. It's sad that people need to be reminded of such common-sense water conservation habits as those listed at the bottom of the article, especially "Washing: When showering, wet body, turn off water, apply soap, and turn on water to rinse." How do you even apply soap when the water is running? But I bet a lot of people still do that. Here's another tip: Don't shower every day.
