I was just reading about recent activity at Kileua in Hawaii and saw this: Sulfur dioxide emission rates remain elevated and variable. The most recent average measurement was 1,100 tonnes/day on January 30, still elevated above the 2003-2007 average rate of 140 tonnes/day.
