Roger the above comments. The MB trannys have a smaller rear pump. Unfortunately, you may have made your problems worse with the transmission now because you have now been circulating fluid that likely has some metal shavings ( from front pump sheared bits). Also, you may have made the front pump/TC issues worse by grinding things around (now your stator may be involved). You will know better when you open it up, but you had better think about rebuilding that one or finding a good used one.
