Why not drive it if it still drives OK? I wouldn't drive it just for the sake of trying to reach 1 million miles, but if it runs fine and is in good structural condition, keep it on the road ... these cars like to be driven, not enshrined.
That said, I probably wouldn't take a cross-country trip in it by myself without a solid backup plan ...
