If you want to civilize the ride on your truck consider this option. Go to airbags for springs and thinner sidewall tires, such as Michelin. Go to a Hot Rod shop or constructor, they are familiar with their implementation and tuning. The vendors, will have done the engineering work for you, or will for your truck.

It will not cost more than changing springs and shocks, and all the labor you will have to do, changing things around, and still, you may never get it right.
