This wonderful forum taught me how to take the early w126 seat adjustment switches apart to clean them. Great advise, and with a little practice it was easy as pie. Worked great too!

Now I have a "new" w126 with the memory seats. The driver's side works in all the directions it can move when I press the memorized settings but not so good when I use the individual controls. I suspect it's just dirty like my early switches. Can the memory switches be taken apart and cleaned as easily as the early, non-memory, ones?
