Yeah I was really surprised at the price....they did a total re-sealing job on one we brought them for $280. They have a guy who's like the only one in the area who knows how to work on them.....they said other shops bring them euro-transmissions for this guy to rebuild....since they are all too afraid to try!
When we were there a person's invoice for a 2005 GMC Envoy was on the counter....it needed a full trans replacement..... $4950...
