The level is fine so far. But the trans is noisy, and is related to rpms. I was told this can be due to a clogged filter resulting in the pump sucking air. The problem is worse when the weather is cold. I was not sure on what fluid I should use when I refill.
The W/shop manual I have covers the earlier type of trans, and capacities are more than a gallon. Do these later trans contain less fluid?
