I had Zimmermans on the SDL because they looked freaken awsome, with the stock wheels they are very pointless though since you can't see them.

I used Textar or OE pads. They are dusty, but sure bite. I was more interesting in performance than maintenance so I just kept the wheels waxed and sprayed them down with quick detail a few times a week.


One thing I noticed about the sloted ATE's is that they shed water really fast if you go through a deep puddle. I think the slots scrape the water off the pads or something, you almost never get that wet brake feel for more than a few seconds.
