I will also note that in eliminating that MASSIVE vaccum leak, it improved the vacuum level in the manifold over all and my shifts have improved, albeit only slightly. The car has more kick to it now for some reason, and is nicer to bring thru a drive thru because it just sits there and chugs along merrily with little noise.
