I'll buy one next, IMHO its a better truck than this one. Not that the Chevy is a bad truck, GM just fell a bit short in a few areas.

For starters the F150 rides a lot better on the highway and is quieter. On long trips we take my dads truck.
The interior of the standard F150 is nicer with a center armrest. The Chevy is lacking this. The seats are about the same, I like the older GM dash's better(mine), the new one isn't as nice.
Fords base motors have more balls than GM's. The V6 in the F150 feels like it has 30hp on the V6 in my truck.
Ford puts wider door pockets on their doors, Chevy's are pretty narrow. As a result getting my tape out is harder.
Ford uses disc brakes all around, my truck still has drums. Which is a mixed bag, Toyota loves rear drums to.
The Chevy gets slightly better fuel mileage than the Ford, about 1mpg.

One thing I dislike about most new trucks is they jack them up so they look big and macho. I prefer a low ridding truck like mine, or my uncles 1500 SS. They are easyer to load and get in and out of. On the F150 you can fix this by removing the lift block on the rear axle, GM's fix is probably similer. Or buy the SS if they ever bring it back, I know I will.

Another thing is the switch to larger tires which costs more. Their is no reason for my truck to have 17in wheels, 16's would be perfectly fine. But when I get tires its going to cost me $100 more as a result.
