I agree with the gentleman who asked what they were smoking

You would probably have to bring in the short block to a machine shop, have them install the new sleeves, and plane the top of the block . . . then put in the ring kit, have the head also planed and rebuilt.

Otherwise . . . think it would be easier all the way around to get a good junk yard motor.
