When I was a kid my friend had a 67 Plymouth Barracuda with the 440 cid and dual Holley's. It was built for acceleration of course but we had it over 120mph on the highway.
If I hit 80 mph now I feel like I am a hardened criminal. Of course, we have pretty stiff penalty's for excessive speeding over here in the Colonies.
Excessive is usually 15 mph over the speed limit.
