I'm with Bill on this. There is no need in carrying on like this in a setting that is supposed to be a friendly forum where we spend time to help each other out. The secret is to not let this stuff get personal. I have no doubt that a 240D will run 90 mph, I have seen mine there and it has an automatic but in all honesty I could not take the noise
. I purchase my fuel from a very busy truck stop and use different additives based on what is in the trunk at the time I fill up.
If I wanted to get into an argument I would go talk with the wife about how much $$ I spend on these old cars
