Ok guys, as promised I'm looking for a good home for Gunther. We've taken a job overseas and have to simplify. Would prefer someone here on the forum take the car, I'm not wanting to ebay it.

Located in Utah, road-trip ready.

1979 300D na diesel.
145,xxx original miles verifiable (actually less, but I might drive it a little before someone buys it)
Ivory with matching original wheel covers
Maintenance records up to 1994 when grandma parked it in her garage and forgot about it.
Car was purchased new in Palm Springs, CA then moved to Santa Cruz. I am the 3rd owner.
Seats are practically without wear, but the horsehair pads have deteriorated from the years.
New tires.
New windshield.
New flex discs.
Fuel tank was removed and cleaned after I bought it.
New pencil-style glow plugs.
Unusual to see, but the car came with the optional lower skid-plate protecting the front oil pan. First time I've seen that.
Climate control has been replaced with manual Euro system by me. Works perfectly and no evil servo!
Everything works that I can think of.
I'm including a new 85amp alternator I bought for it, but haven't installed.
Yes, it looks like the brake master cylinder leaked at some point, but not in the 3 years I've owned it. Brakes are fine.
It also looks like there has been some re-painting, and there are a few paint dings but no bondo. Obviously if an old woman drove it that shouldn't come as a surprise.
There is a crack in a rubber piece of the front fender. I didn't get around to replacing it.
