Green Magic results
A big thanks to Dave for his efforts,
I own a 1978 300cd with pleanty of chrome! This was the first year that this vehicle was produced(US). Mine happens to be 000766 so I feel that my vehicle was one of the first run parts vehicles that Mercedes produced in this model. The c123 coupe has these big belt moldings that glide down the side of the vehicle till they get to the back glass and then turn up and around back to the top of the fnt glass. This chrome molding IMHO is the centerpiece of the exterior. They are $350.00 apiece from MB. I had aquired a 280ce parts car with pretty good chrome better than my original. So after using anything and everything I sent my check off to dave for the "green Magic." The product is very good, some of the best that I have seen (Worked in bodyshops for 8 years.) To be honest and accurate to the brothers and sisters of the Benz, it did not fix my chrome problem. The G.M. has done remarkable job on the surfaces that have not had the (coating?) These moldings around the windows seem to be some sort of metal that has been chromed on the door piece then changes to a different process on the 1/4 glass and surround. SO if you have an old c123 with these moldings it polish may or may not work completely, depending on the condition of you trim. NOT DAVES FAULT
I have used the stuff on lots of other metals at it works great, belt buckle, silverware, picture frames, putter. just .02 email if anyone has more specific questions. CD in SC
