Sure, a 5L euro or 5.6 US or Euro would give you quite the boost.

Won't be all That much worse then a standard car..it ALL depends on how hard/often you get on that pedal;-)

You mentioned you had $$ to spend, and aside from forced induction/custom intakes etc that's about as far as you can reasonably go..
