Last month I had to have the windshield replaced again, and this time, they put the clear sticker on. That thing is ugly! Unless you are looking right at it from up close, it is invisible.

I've seen several auctions on ebay in the past couple weeks for the white Daimler Benz stickers, but the vendor wants ten bucks each. Luckily, I purchased a few about fifteen years ago and still have one left. Not sure if I want to put it on because when I pick up another rock and have to replace the windshield yet again, I won't have any more stickers left. I'm thinkng about how I can configure the sticker to be reusable, if need be.
I think all versions are still available from dealer.

Our '06 E-class had the "Mercedes" script sticker (now replaced with older style since 2nd windshield) and the '07 GL has an all white sticker with nothing but a Gottleib Daimler autograph.
