diesels have an image problem in this country. they are seen as dirty noisy polluters which is far from the truth. second generation diesels are smooth, quiet and get excellent fuel mileage. I'll never forget my first test drive of a Chevrolet Duramax pickup truck. it felt as though there was enough torque to take on a corvette. diesels forever.
