I remember in law school this case where a guy bought new tires with a "guarantee" that if the tire was defective, they would give you a new tire.
Not too long after they were installed on his 1957 Ford station wagon, one of them blew up.
When it happened, his car rolled, crashed and burned, and he was horribly injured disfigured and burned.
The tire company that produced the defective tire, offered him .......
One new tire.
