This is the first W210 "cracked dash" post that I have ever seen but there are many W123 and W124 threads on the subject. A new dash from the dealer will be beau coup bucks; if you can find one in a junkyard you will be far better off by a factor of 20X or more. Otherwise, a [fabric] "dash mat" or [plastic] "dash cap" would be an option.

As to pulling the W210 dash, I've never seen it done, maybe someone else here can help but I bet it won't be easy. Safety first, remember the passenger side airbag!
