If it's a W124, there is a bolt on the bottom of the radiator that secures a clip for the trans cooler line.
Most recent MBs use clips for the radiator and the shroud, so it's just a matter of removing the clips and breaking the connections of the two radiator hoses, and the two trans cooler lines. Might want to have a line wrench for the trans cooler lines.
If you have an engine oil cooler on the side of the radiator, you also need to remove the two clamps that hold the oil cooler to the side of the radiator.
No need to remove the fan or the shroud, just lift up and push the shroud back toward the engine.
