I may send some to them just out of curiosity when my 5 thousand rolls around, but it's less of a priority now than it was, if only because now that we've got a second car to use, taking the SDL apart for a while to just see what's going on is a better option than it was previously. Probably sometime this fall I'll move into the 240 and we'll pull the head and see what we learn.

I'm more worried at the moment that my overheating problem won't go away when the problem I'm discussing in this thread does, regardless of what the outcome is. I've been sort of hoping that a cracked head could lead to overheating when making ascents, simply because I've already checked everything else that it makes sense for that to be. If it doesn't, then I've still got just as much trouble as I did before.

The pressure holding overnight and the mysteriously disappearing coolant seems like a valid enough reason to pull the head on this thing regardless.
